Terrace RCMP are asking for the public’s help following a suspicious death early Sunday morning.

On Nov. 10, 2019 around 1:45 am, Terrace RCMP responded to a report involving an intoxicated pedestrian on Hwy 16 E. Police were unable to locate the man.

Around 5 am, police were dispatched to a report of a man in the roadway on Thornhill Frontage Road parallel to the north side of Hwy 16. Officers attended and located an unresponsive man who was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Blaine FRISK of Kamloops BC, was pronounced dead a few hours later. He is the same man from the call received around 1:45 am.

Police are asking the public to please contact Terrace RCMP if they have dash camera footage of Hwy 16 and its parallel roads between midnight and 5 am, along the strip between Hwy 37 and the Thornhill sign; had any contact with FRISK after 1 am; or have more information about the night’s events involving FRISK.
