Robbery of Carter’s Jewellers

Carter’s Jewellers was victim of a robbery yesterday afternoon. A man had entered the store and smashed out a glass display case with a type of tool stealing an amount of jewellery. Terrace RCMP were called to the robbery shortly after 3 PM. The man had fled on foot east on Lakelse Ave towards the Royal Bank. Police were quickly in the area searching for the thief described as a First Nations man in his 30’s, approximately 5 ft 7 inches, wearing a blue ball cap, a black jacket, track pants, and glasses. Terrace Forensic Identification Unit, Terrace General Investigation Section, and Police Dog Rook were also on scene assisting in the investigation.

“At this time, the Terrace RCMP is looking to identify this person of interest depicted in the attached photographs,” says Cpl Mark Alexander, NCO I/C Terrace General Investigation Section.
