Drugs, cash, and weapons seized from Terrace home

A large quantity of drugs and cash were seized by police after a search warrant was executed Thursday morning.

On February 20, 2020, around 11 a.m., a search warrant was executed at a house on the 4600 block of Scott Avenue, following an investigation by the Terrace RCMP’s General Investigation Service (GIS) Unit. As a result of the warrant, three people were arrested and a number of items were seized including a vehicle, weapons, and large quantities of cash and drugs elieved to be meth, cocaine, and opioids.

“Anytime we can remove drugs from the streets, it helps make the community that much safer, even just for the weekend”, said Terrace RCMP Staff Sergeant Michael ROBINSON. “A lot of work has gone into this file so far and I look forward to seeing where this ongoing investigation brings us.”

Charges are pending against a man and two women who were arrested.
